About Synchrony

Synchrony Counseling Services is a private practice based in Columbus, Ohio, offering couples therapy and wellness services via telehealth and in person. The practice supports couples and individuals who want to better understand their relationships, navigate conflict more effectively, and feel more grounded in their emotional lives.

At Synchrony, we believe meaningful change begins with understanding of self, of one another, and of the patterns that shape how we relate. Our work is rooted in evidence-based approaches that integrate relational science, neuroscience, somatic awareness, and attachment-informed care. We focus not only on improving communication, but on helping individuals and couples understand why they interact the way they do and how to move forward with intention.

We work primarily with couples who feel disconnected, stuck in recurring conflict, or unsure how to move forward together. Individual therapy focuses on emotional regulation, self-awareness, and overall wellness, especially for those navigating change or long-standing patterns. Care is collaborative and tailored, with attention to pacing so change feels sustainable.

Synchrony Counseling Services is a place where growth is supported, complexity is welcomed, and relationships are given the care they deserve.

About Me

My name is Danielle Culpepper, and I am the owner and founder of Synchrony Counseling Services. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio. I received my master’s training at The Ohio State University and Capital University. My professional path has taken me through school counseling, community mental health, and private practice. Those experiences have given me a front-row seat to how people develop across the lifespan, and how healing can ripple outward into families, partnerships, and generations. I believe deeply that patterns can shift when healing is an active choice. My work as a couples therapist has been shaped by my understanding of how early experiences influence adult relationships, communication patterns, emotional responses, and the dynamics couples navigate as partners and parents. My therapeutic approach is grounded in a trauma informed and socially just lens, and the belief that people are capable of profound transformation when they’re given the right tools and the right support. I believe that we all have the capacity for change, so long as we put our minds to it.
